The League extends its appreciation to the Sumner County School Board candidates, Principal Brad Schreiner and Merrol Hyde Magnet School and Marjorie Lloyd of the Hendersonville Standard for their participation and support of our recent School Board Candidate Forum, held on Thursday, July 22nd.

School Board Candidates from Districts 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 were invited to particpate.

The event was video taped. Please check back to this site for information on viewing options as voters make plans to vote in the August 5th election as well a with Community Access Channel 3 (Hendersonville) and Channel 19 (Gallatin and Sumner County) for airing times.

Note regarding the video taping: Due to technical difficulties, some candidates' closing remarks were not taped in their entirety. As a result, League leaders discussed an appropriate solution that allowed those candidates affected to retape their closing remarks. The understanding and cooperation of each candidate is appreciated regarding our effort to ensure inclusion of all candidates' remarks.
